Tony Cox
Multiple SAMA award-winning guitarist Tony Cox returns to South Africa this August after 2 years away touring and performing around the world. In that time Cox has developed a loyal fan base far and wide, particularly in the UK and Canada where he performs yearly. Known throughout South Africa as one of its finest guitarists, Cox's shows are filled with humour and stories from his life that often reduce his audience to fits of laughter and then gasps of amazement at what comes out of his guitar. Do not pass up the opportunity of witnessing for yourself just why this guitarist regularly moves foreign audiences from Italy to Canada, from the USA to Scotland, to jump to their feet shouting for more...

EcoJunki
Ecojunki is a movement by a collective of individuals who endeavour to raise awareness and encourage the development of environmentally-conscious creative work. At the Celebrate Life Festival for 2010, we are going to offer a free, interactive and ongoing workshop during the entire weekend where people are free to join in and use plastic, paper and other materials we usually throw away, to create something new and creative.
Ecojunki was founded by Janet Botes, a South African visual artist and creative activist whose art, performance art, design and other projects are mainly focused around raising awareness for environmental issues around pollution, conservation and deforestation. Other Ecojunki members and supporters include a couple of artists, designers, environmentalists and other inspiring, enthusiastic people.
